Leichhardt Council supports the community of Maliana, East Timor helping to raise money selling East Timor Fair Trade coffee, woven scarves and other garments. Leichhardt Council offices also use Fair Trade tea, coffee and sugar. Coffee can be purchased at the Citizens Service Centre.

We collect seeds and cuttings from the closest remaining bushland to propagate and reintroduce local indigenous plants to the area, providing food and habitat for native birds, insects, lizards and frogs.
